Lori Lycette

Lori brings a long-standing commitment to service, accuracy and follow-through to her role as Client Service Manager at Golden Years Financial.

Lori’s career began in the banking industry, where she developed a strong foundation in client support, financial operations and day-to-day problem solving. From there, she transitioned into the brokerage industry, working with several large firms and gaining extensive experience supporting advisors and clients in more complex financial environments. That time sharpened her attention to detail and deepened her understanding of how financial decisions affect real people over time.

After a brief experience in insurance sales, Lori stepped into a very different role as a newspaper editor. While short-lived, that chapter reinforced her strengths in communication, organization and meeting deadlines under pressure. She soon returned to banking, where her skills and temperament were a better fit, before eventually joining Golden Years Financial.

In her role, Lori is focused on making sure clients feel supported, informed and cared for at every step of the process. She believes great service isn’t about transactions, but about consistency, clarity and doing what you say you will do. Her calm presence and reliability help ensure plans move forward smoothly and that clients always know they have someone in their corner.

Lori has lived in the Jackson, Mississippi, area her entire life and currently resides in Canton. She is the proud mother of two grown children and cherishes spending time with her granddaughter. Outside the office, she enjoys live music, travel and discovering hidden gems while thrift shopping.
